My name is Katherine Harris and I am an aspiring artist. I am based in the east Texas area although I do enjoy travel if I get the opportunity to do so.
Art is what’s all around us and it shapes our society. We see art not only in paintings or decorative objects but we see it in advertising, magazines, architecture, media, and so on. I enjoy looking at different aspects of art around me.

I mostly enjoy looking at Eastern Ink Paintings by a variety of artists. The careful technique and elegant way each work is painted is what I look up to the most and in the end the result is absolutely beautiful.
I hope to pursue art in animation, graphics, design, or costuming because they are all things I will enjoy working on. I began drawing because I took an interest in animation but during that path I discovered other hobbies revolving around art. One day I hope to pursue a life time career where I am able to expand my abilities and be able to do what I love.
